ep:06 Jessie McCall is stretching her comfort zone

Feel like this year handed you more twists and turns than a daytime soap opera?

You’re not alone, friend.

On this week’s episode, Jessie McCall and I discuss the crazy amount of changes we’ve endured this year — and how nothing really went according to plan.

After the pandemic closed international borders earlier this year, US native Jessie was forced to adapt to a situation she never expected to find herself in. But instead of stunting her creativity, she found a way to allow these challenges to stretch her, and even found inspiration for new projects.

In this episode Jessie and I talk about —

  • pursuing a new relationship in a new country against the backdrop of the pandemic

  • giving yourself grace (and a good pep talk) for unexpected times of transition

  • trying new, uncomfortable things that stretch your comfort zone and your creativity

  • surprising yourself

ABOUT JESSIE
Jessie McCall has over 10 years experience as a professional photographer, getting her start in the music industry working alongside some of the greats. She loved taking photos and quickly found that she loved the conversations she’d have with the people in the photos just as much. After a couple years being stuck in a serious rut, Jessie surrendered and allowed herself to flow in a new direction. Through a series of curious inquiries she was led to the world of underwater and nude portraiture.

This newfound love sprung her towards melding both coaching and the power of the underwater sessions. Jessie believes everyone deserves to feel like art — unique, beautiful, empowered — and her sessions take you there.
