constraints are your friend.

Sometimes I sit and think about all the things I can’t do right now.

I can’t travel more than 5km from my house. I can’t meet new people or try new things or see the ocean — all things that inspire my creativity and just generally encourage wellbeing.

How’s a girl supposed to work within these kinds of constraints?

One particular moment, I worked myself up into a real funk, thinking about how everyone else gets to go out and be creatively inspired by the world, when…

It hit me.

Yes, I am constrained. It’s a fact. And — I can USE these constraints. They can actually help me, if I let them. I will not be held back by my constraints.

I’m going to create everything I can create within the walls of these constraints I can’t control.

Within my limited space, I have all the space in the world.

If I can do it friend, SO CAN YOU.

The reality of today’s world, whether you’re in lockdown, or living your day-to-day life — is that we all have constraints, or limitations, in some form.

And if you’ve got a dream burning inside you, you have two choices if you want to get that dream out into the world:
Choice #1: embrace your constraints and learn to create within them
Choice #2: push your dream deep down to the place where dreams go to die and always wonder what could’ve been

For all of our sakes — I really hope you don’t push your dream down. A dream not realised is painful.

And I know you want to find the joy and fulfillment in your life that comes from connecting with your creative heart and doing what lights you up.

And someone in this world needs you to realise your dream, because they need what you want to create.

So maybe you’re saying — I work 9-5, then I exercise, cook dinner for my family, spend time with my kids/partner, clean, do the laundry, online shop for new shoes, binge Netflix — I get it. You got stuff.

If you let them, your constraints hold you back from your creativity. But within them, creativity can thrive.

I’ve created a training to help you —

  • understand how constraints can help your creativity, not hurt it

  • identify the biggest constraints in your life right now

  • take 5 simple actions to embrace your constraints and get one step closer to your creative dreams

And, it’s an AUDIO training, so you can download it and listen anytime, anywhere you want. In under 15 minutes, you’ll learn how to love your constraints, not let them overwhelm you and hold you back.
